Transcend Technologies Group, Inc. (Transcend) is a privately held company that specializes in Internet-based software applications for the health insurance and benefits industry.
Founded in 2001, Transcend licenses the Group Benefits Manager (GBM) system to insurance brokers. GBM is a comprehensive, Software as a Service (SaaS), solution that helps brokers prospect for new business, manage and protect their existing book of business, and provide online employee-self-service to their employer groups.
In July, 2007, Transcend acquired the benefitsCONNECT® system, which is an advanced, EDI-enabled, Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that electronically connects brokers, HR administrators, employees, carriers, and other third parties who participate in the benefits enrollment and benefits administration process.
Together with GBM’s online agency management and administration, and benefitsCONNECT®‘s online enrollment and administration capabilities, Transcend Technologies Group has broadened their product line to include two of the industry’s best of breed systems. Both systems will enable end-users to meet the demands of an increasingly complex employee benefits landscape.
Group Benefits Manager and benefitsCONNECT® currently provide platforms that deliver agency management functionality to more than 300 brokers and TPAs, and deliver online enrollment and benefits administration for more than 2600 employer groups, covering nearly one million lives.
Located in Elk Grove, CA (Sacramento) and Minneapolis, MN Transcend Technologies Group services brokers in 38 states, the District of Columbia, and one Canadian province.
